Palmer & Harvey (P&H) - Intranet
Brief
P&H are one of the UK's leading retail distributors.
They wanted an internally hosted and managed site that would reflect
their commitment to providing the highest quality of service to their
customers and stakeholders.
The site was required to effectively communicate
important process and performance information to stakeholders and
staff to allow continuous improvements to be achieved in both profit
and service.
Objectives
- To build an online resource centre that provides
the most up to date Quality information to staff.
- Allow P&H staff to keep the system up to date
- Allow communication of the quality system to meet
the requirement s of ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Description
This site consists of five different areas: Process
maps, process information, resource centre,
calendar and update log.
We have provided content management so that P&H
can make changes as and when they would like. Process maps can be
internally managed using another application and seamlessly integrated
into the site. Performance information can be updated and then graphically
displayed in many ways and resources can be added, removed and updated.
All this management is controlled using a secure
and simple administration module.
Future development is planned for this site which
will include:
- A search engine to provide easier use of the site.
- A fully integrated standards reference library
to demonstrate how and where P&H meet the requirements of
standards.
