Trevose Golf and Country Club have had a static website for a number of years and were finding the frequent communication with their web company every time they wanted to make an update a time consuming process. What they wanted was to be able to update the busiest sections of the site that the club members viewed the most whenever they wanted. We were able to offer them a database driven solution that allowed them to do just that from wherever they were in the world.

More recently the site was ready for a complete overhaul in terms of design and functionality. Using some spectacular images of the course our designer came up with a concept design that was immediately accepted by the client. Through consultation with Trevose we designed a new pathway through the site including a menu system that allows the user to access any page with one click. Other additions included a webcam to show streaming and static images of the first hole tee (this allows you to see the fantastic weather that Trevose benefits from).

We have also added a much needed Championship Course walk through, showing images and graphics of each hole and information on how best to play them.

Existing News, Special Offers and Diary modules have been spruced up with the added functionality of being able to show entries on the home page. Functionality includes:-

  This allows them to add, edit and delete news articles via a wysiwig (what you see is what you get) interface allowing the club to format the text they enter eg. bold,center, italics etc.) just like you may use in word processing packages.
  
  
• Special Offers
  
  The same module as used for the News section but put to a slightly different use.
  
  
• Club Diary
  
  This module allows the Club to enter information about events taking place at the Club via a calendar based interface. The Club can specify which diary event is to be shown on the home page. If they don't specify one then the system shows the next event to come up.
